Write a short sequence of operation
State which system calls for the damper to open, when it should close, whether there is a delay, and how its position will be observed. Define who supplies wiring and who verifies the integration. If the fresh-air system also has a fan, filter or other interlock, document that separately. Avoid assuming that “open with AC” is correct in every building.
For a commercial showroom, the DENAIR scope called for an actuator to open the fresh-air damper with AC operation (11276). A later message records the actuator fitted (11651), and the team confirmed that item complete (11654). The record does not include a final whole-building ventilation measurement, so it supports the actuator item, not an air-quality outcome.
Witness the modes
At handover, ask the contractor to show the commanded and observed damper state in each agreed mode and record any mode that could not be tested. Confirm access for later inspection. Keep the control logic and test result with the equipment schedule; a verbal “connected” is weaker than a documented sequence. Any electrical work or control programming should remain with qualified personnel.

Explore the relevant scope
Share the equipment, the rooms affected, previous work and available access. DENAIR can assess the relevant scope.
