Ask what the milestone actually records
A pressure-test record should identify the equipment or circuit, method and relevant conditions under the qualified team's procedures. It is not a homeowner testing instruction and does not, by itself, demonstrate cooling, controls, drainage or final airflow. Do not infer those functions from a single completed test.
Likewise, equipment connected to power and controls has reached another stage. The intended command and operating response still need their appropriate checks. A report should state what was observed rather than using the broad word commissioned for every activity.
Keep counts tied to units and stages
Use a schedule with the unit or circuit reference, stage, date, result and open dependency. If seven indoor units are connected while another stage lists eight units, ask how the references relate. Different counts can describe different tasks without proving a fault, but they cannot be added together as complete acceptance.
Preserve uncompleted items such as building supply readiness, drainage, grilles, control checks and agreed operating demonstrations. Payment or handover decisions should refer to the defined contractual milestone and its evidence, not an assumed meaning of a progress photograph.
The Victory Heights sequence
DENAIR's Victory Heights record states that eight units were pressure tested and seven indoor units connected to power and controls. Fresh-air installation was reported complete. The selected record still requires confirmation of remaining start-up, drainage and grille checks before treating the whole villa scope as accepted.
The photograph shows duct components staged outside the villa. It documents materials and work context, not a pressure-test reading or an operating result. The site's own case boundary is part of the evidence and should remain visible when using it to plan another project.
Separate readiness from final demonstration
The SpaceHUB record shows a different dependency: an upstream electrical connection required correction before start-up, followed by a later top-up and a team completion report. That sequence does not turn an electrical correction into proof of every performance outcome.
For your project, ask which functions will be demonstrated, who controls the relevant building interfaces and what evidence closes each stage. Keep unavailable tests and remaining approvals in the handover record. This makes installation progress reviewable while preserving the difference between completed work and an unverified whole-system result.
